このプロジェクトは、2018年にフォントヴロー修道院（Abbaye de Fontevrau）で、Pièces Montées - ピエスモンテ（工芸菓子）の考案者である パティシエAntonin Carême（アントナン・カレーム）の作品に興味を持ったことから始まった。アートセンターでもあるフォントヴロー修道院から出版された’’メリ・メロ（ごちゃ混ぜ）’’ ではお菓子を「作る」ことができる。この3作品も同じように、形と色のランダムな組み合わせである。
This project began at Fontevraud Abbey（Abbaye de Fontevrau）in 2018, where I became interested in the work of Antonin Carême, inventor of the pièce montée. A méli-mélo, published by the art centre, is allowed to generate pastries. The images work in the same way and are the result of random combinations of shapes and colours.

1979年ストラスブール生まれ。ストラスブール在住。Aurélienの作品は、遊び、道具、モジュール構造という概念に基づいている。インスタレーション、書籍、教育キット、オブジェなどを通して、見る人が遊び心を持って道具を手に取り、動かしたり、創造できる余地を残すようにしている。
Born 1979 in Strasbourg. He lives in Strasbourg. Aurélien's work is fundamentally based on the concepts of play, tools and modular structures. Through installations, books, educational kits and objects, he leaves room for the viewer to playfully pick up, move and create with the tools.
