EDITIONS LA MANUFACTURE

We are print editors based in Paris and Yokohama.
The Paris team is from Bureau Kida SAS. a European agency for artists and illustrators since 1999. The team in Yokohama is a curator and art director with long experience in graphic design galleries. Original works by mainly European and American drawing artists will be produced as digital prints and lithographs and sold in limited numbered and signed copies. These are artists who usually express their world in various settings, including commission work, picture books, exhibitions and workshops. In order to give you a closer look at their fascination, Toshiaki Miyamoto has visited their ateliers, interviewed them about their production sites and their philosophy on creation, and made a video of it.

The logo was drawn by French artist Philippe Weisbecker. Our edition's parent company, the artist agency Bureau Kida SAS, has been Weisbecker's agent since 1999. The pencil drawings neatly expressed our concept of using machines to create original artworks.
